Practicing Place Value **Freebie**

by becky on July 4, 2011

Like many teachers, my district has adopted the common core standards. For me, that means I’m going to be teaching math concepts in a completely different order. I will be starting the year teaching place value. I created the following games to help my student practice identifying numbers to the hundred thousands. Additionally, through the practice of the games, they will have practice adding and subtracting values in varying place values, and practice rounding. If you’d like a copy, click here: Practicing Place Value . Also, while you are there, pick up a copy of my Partner Clock, and my take on Reading Anecdotal Forms. If you like what you see, feel free to leave me some feedback! Thanks and Happy 4th of July!
